The production of high-quality enameled wires that meet both industry standards and customer requirements can be influenced by various factors, including raw materials, process parameters, production equipment, and environmental conditions.
Although the quality characteristics of enameled wires can vary, they generally exhibit four major properties: mechanical, chemical, electrical, and thermal.
There are several types of enameled wires, including:
General Purpose Enameled Wire: This type of wire is primarily used in general motors, electrical appliances, and meters, as well as for winding applications in transformers.
Heat-Resistant Enameled Wire: Designed to withstand high-temperature environments, heat-resistant enameled wire is used in motors, electrical appliances, instruments, transformers, and other applications where temperatures reach 180°C and above.
After the enameled wire is wound into a coil, it often undergoes a dipping process. The solvent in the dipping varnish can have a swelling effect on the paint film, especially at higher temperatures.
This immersion, combined with heat during operation, may lead to thermal cracking of the paint film. Therefore, the compatibility between the dipping varnish and the enameled wire paint film is crucial to ensure the longevity of motors, appliances, and meters.
