Rectangular insulated wire for generator coils

In the past, round wires or flat wires were used as insulating wires (magnet wires) for the stator of generators (power generating motors) mounted on automobiles. By using flat wires, the filling ratio of the stator can be increased compared with the case of using conductors having a roughly circular cross-section, and thus a small-sized generator with high output can be obtained. Recently, with generators having small dimensions and high power as described above, there has been a need for insulated vehicle generator cables to have properties such as insulation, resistance to thermal softening, flexibility, and long-term heat resistance. The resistance is increased compared to conventional configurations.

Bonding between the insulating layers can be achieved and prevented by forming the single or plurality of thermoplastic resin layers on the enamel layer and specifying a range of relative crystallinity of the one or more thermoplastic resin layers formed on the enamel layer. of cracks. In addition, excellent ATF resistance can be obtained.


(1) A flat insulated electric wire characterized by having:
a flat conductor having a substantially rectangular cross-section; a thermosetting resin layer provided to cover the flat conductor; a plurality of thermoplastic resin layers provided on the thermosetting resin layer, and an adhesion between the thermosetting resin layer and the thermoplastic resin layer of 50 gf/mm to 100 gf/mm.
(2) The flat insulated cable according to (1) above, wherein said thermoplastic resin layer is a crystalline resin layer formed from a material selected from any one of polyether ether ketone, polyether ketone, polyether ketone, polyphenylene sulfide and a thermoplastic polyimide.
(3) The flat insulated cable according to (1) or (2) above, wherein the bonding force between said plurality of thermoplastic resin layers is 50 gf/mm to 100 gf/mm, respectively.
(4) The flat insulated cable according to any one of (1) to (3) above, characterized in that said thermosetting resin layer is formed from one or more materials selected from polyamideimide, polyesterimide, polyimide. H grade polyester and polyetherimide.
